Fixed on the same visit when we possibly can.

About seven of every ten repair callouts get fixed on the first visit because we carry the common spares — capacitors, relays, drain pumps, fan motors and PCBs for the most popular brands. The rest are quoted, ordered, and done within the week.

Common faults we fix

  • No cooling. Could be compressor, capacitor, low refrigerant, frozen coil or a tripped overload. We rule them out in this order.
  • Water dripping into the room. Almost always a blocked drain pipe, sometimes a slipped insulation sleeve. Quick fix.
  • Loud humming or rattling outdoors. Usually a tired fan motor bearing or compressor mounts past their service life.
  • Indoor unit clicks but won't start. Capacitor or main contactor. Both are stock spares.
  • Remote unresponsive. Sometimes the remote, more often a failed IR sensor on the indoor PCB.

How a diagnostic visit works

Diagnostic-only visits are charged at RM 90 for the first hour, waived if you proceed with the repair. We bring multimeters, manifold gauges, anemometers and a thermal camera. You see what we see, and the quote for any repair is given in writing before parts are ordered.

If a repair isn't worth it

For inverter units more than seven years old where the compressor has failed, we usually recommend replacement. The cost of an OE compressor often approaches a brand-new unit with a fresh warranty — we'll lay out both numbers and let you decide.
