Terms & conditions

Last updated 2026-05-15. These terms apply when you book aircon installation or servicing with Sparkium Climate Care Sdn Bhd (“Sparkium”, “we”) in Malaysia.

Bookings & quotes

Quotes are valid for fourteen days from the date issued. Same-day callouts depend on availability and may be reassigned to the next working day if the workshop is at full capacity. We confirm scheduled appointments by WhatsApp the day before.

Payment

Payment is due on completion of the work by cash, online transfer (DuitNow, FPX) or QR Pay. For larger installations, a 50% deposit is collected on the day work begins. Invoices are issued by email or as a printed copy on request.

Workmanship guarantee

Installation work carries a 90-day workmanship guarantee. Repair work carries a 30-day guarantee on the specific fault addressed. The guarantee is voided if a third party modifies the work or if the unit is operated outside its rated capacity.

Manufacturer warranty

The manufacturer's warranty applies separately. For units we install, we register the warranty on your behalf with the manufacturer and send you the confirmation. You retain the right to claim under the manufacturer warranty directly.

Cancellations

Bookings can be cancelled at no charge up to 12 hours before the scheduled visit. Inside 12 hours we may apply a RM 50 callout fee. Genuine emergencies (medical, family) are always waived.

Customer obligations

  • Provide safe access to the worksite (parking, building access cards or guard authorisation).
  • Disclose any known electrical faults, water damage or structural concerns.
  • Move personal valuables out of the immediate work area before our arrival.

Limitation of liability

Our maximum liability for any single incident is the total amount paid for the job in question. We carry public liability insurance for incidents above this threshold caused by demonstrable negligence on our part.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Malaysia. Disputes will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the Malaysian courts.
